Trésors d’Altitude recently curated a display of statement artworks for a stunning mountain chalet in Argentière, Mont-Blanc in France.
Paying homage to the picturesque location of the property, Trésors d’Altitude selected traditional style paintings of the Argentière village church by Marcel Wibault, and of the Grandes Jorasses by Joseph Victor Communal, an iconic mountain artist, creating a direct link with the amazing surrounding landscapes of Mont Blanc.
Trésors d’Altitude also included a number of contemporary artworks among them Minna George’s stunning Alpine peak paintings, created on a plexiglass composite with mixed media signifying the perception of strength and fragility of these summits. In addition, photographs from the series “Ready Made for Guides” by Roxane Petitier and a pair of unique pop art ski boots by Art Vladi bring a contemporary look and elevate the space.
At Trésors d’Altitude, we are dedicated to sourcing the very best in mountain art from both established and emerging artists. We understand the value in investing in original, meaningful works of art. We invite you to contact us for at art@tresorsdaltitude.com.
